Adesola is an accomplished professional, consummate Organizational Director, and Business Leader with multifaceted experience and proven expertise in revitalizing organizations, initiating company-wide restructuring and strengthening healthcare systems for better governance, service delivery and sustainability. He has 20 years of professional experience with backgrounds in finance, risk management, business strategy, private equity investment, and healthcare management.

Adesola served as Investment Director with Flint Atlantic Capital (Flint), an impact investment firm, where he considered a number of investments with social impact as key criteria for determining investment fit within the portfolio. While at Flint, Adesola also served as a finance consultant to Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation (HSDF). He led the Private Sector Engagement programme of HSDF, where he supported key stakeholders in the private sector to address complex and fundamental health system challenges and improve the quality of decision-making and execution in the health sector. At HSDF, Adesola engaged with over 100 Medical Directors of private hospitals to strengthen their governance systems, financial management and succession plans.

Prior to joining Flint, Adesola served as the Chief Financial & Operations Officer of Echolily Investments LLC, a healthcare group comprising a network of multi-specialist hospital, a pharmaceutical distributor, and a diagnostic laboratory. He managed the Africa Health Fund’s (AHF) investment in the Group; and played a key role in driving revenue growth and business expansion from a single facility to five centres across three states.

Adesola was an investment executive with Abraaj Capital where he was involved in investment sourcing and structuring, due diligence, strategy, and business process improvement for investee companies. He was an active member of the team that raised and invested the pioneer healthcare investment fund in Africa – the US$105m Africa Health Fund; implementing strategies and managing financial and investment risks to ensure business integrity and performance. He started his career with the Audit and Business Assurance division of KPMG Nigeria, where he was a Senior Consultant on statutory audits, IT assurance, forensic investigations and financial advisory engagements for clients in financial services, oil & gas, telecoms, manufacturing and FMCG industries.

Adesola founded Carebox Consulting in 2019 with a vision to support entrepreneurs and transform African businesses with best-in-class strategy and cutting-edge technology that delivers outstanding performance, accelerated growth, and sustainable businesses. Carebox service areas are Strategy, Automation, Advisory, Assurance and Training. The firm has advised on several hospital mergers and acquisitions. He is passionate about training and capacity development, Carebox facilitates training such as the Hospital Management and Finance Bootcamp; Hospital Governance and Succession Planning (why do African businesses die with their founders?); Personal Financial Management (make money, grow money and achieve freedom) etc. The trainings have received overwhelmingly positive feedback and glowing recommendations. Adesola also consults for Healthcare Leadership Academy (HLA) as a Subject Matter Expert for the training of healthcare executives in operations and management.

Adesola holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, he is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISA). He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the International Health Economics Association (iHEA).
